VirtualEvents365 Breaks the Language Barrier with New Localization Capabilities
CGS has added important new local language support for its popular virtual events platform. The new capabilities will enable event attendees to set their personal user-interface language and help meeting organizers custom tailor content for their global audiences.
New York, NY July 29, 2010 -- VirtualEvents365SM, a business unit of Computer Generated Solutions, Inc. (CGS), announces the addition of important new localization capabilities to its industry-leading VirtualEvents365 online events platform. This breakthrough technology helps virtual events organizers meet the growing demand for multilingual events by empowering meeting attendees to select their user-interface language preference while also allowing organizers to more effectively localize content for global audiences.
“Our integration of local language tools will propel the shift from physical to virtual events for a wide range of businesses and organizations,” said CGS’s Senior Vice President Michael Wilding. “We are pleased to deliver this major advancement as it will greatly increase the impact and effectiveness of virtual events for our current and future clients around the globe.”
Available through the latest VirtualEvents365 Version 4 platform, the new localization tools currently offer attendees a choice of twelve user interface languages; including English, French, Quebec French, Italian, German, Spanish, American Spanish, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, European Portuguese, and Brazilian Portuguese. With these easy-to-use tools, virtual event attendees can select their language preference during the event registration process and change it at any time during an event with the click of a mouse. User preferences are stored in the user’s profile and automatically retrieved at future event logins.
The new localization solutions also enable meeting organizers to localize important meeting content, including prepared materials and surveys, according to audience language requirements. Navigational and feature buttons and icons in the virtual meeting environment also provide attendees with a more localized and personal event experience.
