VirtualEvents365 Extends Self Service Options for Virtual Events Organizers
CGS is raising the bar for self-service capabilities in the virtual events marketplace by significantly increasing the scope of event organizer self-service configuration options. Recent additions to the VirtualEvents365 platform include self-service event branding, content management, and collaboration setup and management options.
New York, NY July 27, 2010 -- VirtualEvents365SM, a business unit of Computer Generated Solutions, Inc. (CGS), has significantly increased the scope of self-service options available to virtual event organizers in the latest edition of its popular VirtualEvents365 solution. A host of new self-service branding, content, and collaboration options allows companies to custom tailor their corporate, demand generation, e-learning, job fair, conference, tradeshow, and other virtual event environments to tightly align with specific organizer and attendee requirements and interests.
According to CGS Senior Vice President Michael Wilding, “We are raising the bar for self-service capabilities in the virtual events marketplace. This move puts the configuration of many of our latest and most advanced capabilities within the reach of all our customers. Judging from initial reactions, existing and prospective clients are very pleased to gain this ease-of-use and level of control for their events.”
In addition to the registration, presentation management, and survey tools already offered in the self-service model (SSM), VirtualEvents365 Version 4 adds event marketing and branding solutions that include a new Microsite Builder tool and Integrated Platform Themes that provide control over the look and feel of events. Organizers can setup collaboration areas on an event-wide basis, at specific exhibit booths, or even allow individual attendees to schedule personal collaboration sessions with other participants in the event. Special purpose eLearning sessions, eLabs software experimentation, access-restricted and password-protected event areas or materials are also managed in the SSM.
VirtualEvents365 also enables organizers to incorporate eCommerce (online payment) services for designated event content or as part of the event registration process.
